On January 21st and 22nd 2026, the CIRCAT (Cybersecurity Infrastructure Resilience, Collaboration, and Advanced Training) project held its kick-off meeting at the Auditorium of the Ministry of Digital Governance in Athens, Greece, hosted by the National Cybersecurity Authority of Greece.
The meeting was attended by representatives of all consortium partners and included presentations on the project’s vision, objectives and expected impact. Partners also discussed the implementation work plan, identified challenges and risks, and reviewed the project schedule.
CIRCAT aims to provide a solution that leverages cutting-edge AI-enhanced tools and processes to support organisations, in particular large industrial installations and infrastructures, in their efforts to increase the level of protection and resilience to cyber threats.
CIRCAT will complement the existing efforts of these organisations towards effective and continuous risk assessment along with testing and training in a secure, controlled environment.
The 6 consortium partners include National Cybersecurity Authority of Greece (NCSA), which is coordinating the project, Athens Technology Center S.A. (ATC), Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC), K3Y Ltd (K3Y) and FundingBox Accelerator (FBA).
The project, funded under the Digital Europe Programme, officially started on January 1st 2026 and has a duration of 36 months.
